STEM (Secondary)
Overview
The STEM programme prepares post ‘O’ level student teachers to teach Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics in secondary schools, leading to a Diploma in Education (Secondary Sciences).
The programme runs over three years and is organised into semesters and modules. Student teachers spend their first year (two semesters) in residence at the college, the second year on Work Integrated Learning (WIL) in secondary schools, and the final year (two semesters) back on campus. Each semester is made up of modules, and students complete their modules by the end of that semester.
Now enrolling for the February 2027 intake. Student teachers choose one area of specialisation and train to teach it in secondary schools.
Like all programmes at Bondolfi, the STEM programme is grounded in the college’s Catholic ethos of knowledge, skills and service.
