Student Portal Guide

Before you start

Have these ready

You create your portal account yourself, but the portal first checks your details against the college's student records. Gather the following before you begin:

  • Your student numberAs shown on your admission letter, with the slashes, e.g. 25/30/001.
  • Your surnameSpelt exactly as the college has it on record.
  • A personal email addressOne you can open. You can use it to sign in.
  • Your date of birth and national IDYour date of birth is also what you use to reset a forgotten password.
  • Phone and home addressYour phone number, address, city, province and country.
  • Next of kin detailsName, relationship and phone number of your next of kin.

Step 1 · first time only

Create (claim) your account

  1. Go to the portal sign-in page and click “Student: Create account with Student Number”, or use the button below.
  2. Student Verification: enter your Student Number and Surname.
  3. Account Details: enter your Email, choose a Password and type it again in Confirm Password. The two must match.
  4. Personal Details: select your Gender and fill in Date of Birth, National ID and Nationality.
  5. Contact Details: enter your Phone, Address, City, Province and Country. Alternative Phone is optional.
  6. Next of Kin: enter their Name, Relationship and Phone. Their address is optional.
  7. Click Create Account. If anything is missing or doesn't match the college records, the form will tell you what to fix.

Tip: Enter your date of birth carefully. You will need exactly the same date if you ever have to reset your password.

Step 2 · every time

Sign in to the portal

  1. Open sis.bondolfiteacherscollege.ac.zw, or click Student Portal at the top of any page on this website.
  2. In Email Address/Student Number, type either the email you registered with or your student number.
  3. Type your Password. Click the eye icon if you want to check what you typed.
  4. Tick Remember me only on your own phone or computer, never on a shared or library computer.
  5. Click Sign In.

Finished? Always sign out when you are using a shared computer.

Step 3 · if you forget

Reset a forgotten password

  1. On the sign-in page, click Forgot password?, or use the button below.
  2. Enter your Student Number.
  3. Enter your Date of Birth, the same date you gave when you created your account.
  4. Click Verify & Reset Password.
  5. If your date of birth matches, the page shows the fields for your new password. Type a new password, confirm it, and save.
  6. Go back to the sign-in page and log in with your new password.

Not accepted? If your student number and date of birth don't match the records, the reset can't go ahead. Contact the college (details below) to have your record checked.

Problems & help

Common questions

The portal says my student number or surname doesn't match

Check that you typed the number exactly as it appears on your admission letter, with the slashes (for example 25/30/001), and that your surname matches your registration. If it still fails, contact the college so your record can be checked.

I already created an account. Should I do it again?

No. Each student number can only be claimed once. Go to Sign in. If you can't remember your password, use Forgot password.

Can I sign in with my student number instead of my email?

Yes. The sign-in box accepts either your registered email address or your student number.

I don't have a student number yet

Your student number is issued when you are admitted and registered. New applicants should see the Admissions page; the portal is for registered students.

How do I keep my account safe?

Use a password that nobody else knows, don't share it with classmates, avoid “Remember me” on shared computers, and sign out when you finish.
