Background
Bondolfi Mission, where the college is located was established in 1951 and named after Father Bondolfi, founder of Bethlehem Missionary Society (SMB) congregation. Bondolfi Teachers’ College is a Catholic Institution offering ECD and General Teacher Education at Diploma level. It is in the Diocese of Masvingo some 30km to the South of Masvingo city. The teacher Education program started in 1963. In January 1982, Bondolfi Teachers’ College became an associate college of the University of Zimbabwe. It is currently affiliated to the University of Zimbabwe.
Bondolfi Teachers’ College stands proudly as the only Catholic teacher training college in the nation. Bondolfi Teachers’ College has been a cornerstone of education in Zimbabwe for nearly six decades. Our institution’s legacy is one of unwavering dedication to academic excellence and the development of educators who are equipped to make a meaningful impact on the educational landscape.
